Why Use a Pet Sitting Service? part
2
To start I'd like to say that some animals do just fine at the
kennels or with being boarded. Some may look forward to going to
the out of home care facilities (only you know your pets well enough
to determine which is best for him or her). But a lot of pets,
especially the really pampered ones (like all mine have been) may
not do very well being away from you and to also be taken from
their home can just be too much for them to handle. They may suffer
from anxiety, lose weight, pick up some lasting bad habits and
the list can go on and on. For these pets it is much better to
bring someone into your home to care for them. The pet is more
comfortable on his/her home turf and although I'm sure they will
miss you while you are gone it makes it a little easier to be home
while they wait.
I can be there to take your pet to the VET for routine check
ups or for more serious things, like surgeries, and bring them
back home. Should they require supervision I can also stay with
them until you are able to be home with them. Sometimes we just
can't miss work to get a needed procedure done at the vet and that
is where I can come in and help out.
When you can't be home for long periods of time during the day,
your pet doesn't have to "hold it" or have an accident
while you're away. I can come by for mid day visits to let your
pets out or take them for a walk, feed them, play with them, and
love them.
I love it most when families go on vacation and forget to call because they
are having such a great time and I have given them the peace of mind that their
beloved pet and home are safe and sound in my care. If you’d like to
know more about the service and peace of mind I can offer you then please feel
free to call or email me and let’s talk about
it. Whether you are new to the idea of using a pet sitter or if you are looking
for a new service in your area please feel free to contact me and let’s
see how I can help you achieve that peace of mind. And remember it’s
always my goal to be the next best thing to family, the next best thing to
you, for your pets when you have to be away from them for the day, week, or
more.
